How SOA and Disttributed Computing are different…??

Posted by kathayat on September 14, 2007

Distributed systems have previously been tightly interconnected, i.e., they have been subject to tight coupling. If one component failed, the entire service provided by the distributed system would fail. Also, previously distributed systems would be closed. Their interfaces were internal, not exposed and only known by the developers of the systems. ”
